In the fourth and final installment of the "Flaws " series, Sullivan, Lawson, Angel, Kina, and Reginell are back and ready to face their unresolved issues from the past. Tragedy forces Sullivan and Charles to re-evaluate their marriage. Lawson betrays her son in order to protect him. Reginell challenges her new husband, Mark, and her sister, Lawson, to confront their feelings for one another. Angel and Duke must decide if the third time is the charm for their tumultuous relationship, and Kina faces off with Elvin, her dead's husbands father. These BFFs also find themselves at odds with one another and the fact that they've started to grow apart.
The biggest challenge I had for writing this book was just to finish it. Admittedly, I procrastinated with this one and didn't get serious about writing it until about two months before it was due. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong both professionally and personally started to unravel at that time, which added to the pressure I was already under. I cried throughout much of the process.
If you were to create a spin off of Flawbulous with one of your supporting characters, which one would it be and why?
It would probably be Sullivan. She is the character who is the most fun to write because she's such a train wreck. She's also the one I get the most feedback about from readers.
If you could write in any other genre that you've not previously published a book in, what would it be and why?
It would probably be erotica. I know that it's a big leap from Christian fiction, but I kind of think I'd be good at it, mostly because I'm so comfortable with my own sexuality.
What is a hidden talent or pastime that you enjoy that would surprise others?
Painting. My boyfriend and I paint together all the time. It's how we relax, bond, and escape reality.
